UCEA Update: HE Academic Professional apprenticeship standard approved for development

Executive summary
A trailblazer consortium of HEIs has had approval from the DfE for the development of a new apprenticeship standard for Academic Professionals. The consortium consists of more than 70 HEIs and includes private providers, mission groups and sector bodies; UCEA has joined the steering group. There will be further consultations with HE employers once a draft apprenticeship standard has been developed, in early December.
