It has been brought to our attention that the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) have indicated that they are preparing to make alterations to certain parts of their ‘stage one’ cost rates.
The changes are being made to the following university cost categories:
We understand that the VOA are making alterations to the draft 2017 rating list before the revaluation takes effect on 1 April 2017. This means that the reduction noted in the table below will take effect from 1 April 2017.

Negotiations on behalf of the UUK/GuildHE Ratings Advisory Group to determine a Memorandum of Agreement for the sector continue with a further meeting with the VOA scheduled for 20 April.
