Green Gown Awards 2010 now launched

The 2010 Green Gown Awards are now open.
Now in their sixth year, the Awards recognise the exceptional initiatives being undertaken by universities and colleges across the UK to become more sustainable. With sustainability moving up the global agenda, the Awards have become established as a prestigious recognition of the achievements within the further and higher education sector, as well as the environmental sector.
How to apply? Just visit the Green Gown Awards website at:
www.eauc.org.uk/green_gown_awards_2010 and download an application form.
Guidance Notes and a Frequently Asked Questions sheet (FAQs) are also available to download to ensure the form is completed successfully. A Green Gown 2010 launch flier is attached below.
The applications deadline is: Friday 19 February 2010 to the Green Gown Awards Team:
Short-listed applications for Stage 2 of the Awards will be announced on 23rd March at the EAUC Annual Conference in Bangor and winners will be announced at the Gala Banquet & Awards Ceremony to take place in London in June 2010.

The Green Gown Awards are administered by the EAUC and governed by a cross agency steering group comprising, AUDE, AOC, BUFDG, EAUC, GuildHE, HE Academy, HEEPI, HEFCE, HEFCW, LSC, NUS, SFC and UUK.
