AUDE Awards 2020 - deadline countdown

06 December 2019      Corinne Merriman, Events Manager

The deadline for submitting your entry for the 2020 AUDE Awards is fast approaching and now is not the time to be modest. Great work is going on in estates and facilities teams across the country, including in your very office, and we’d love to hear about those projects so we can celebrate the best of the best at our awards ceremony which will be held at the University of Birmingham as part of the 2020 AUDE Conference.

You can nominate your colleagues and projects in five categories:

The AUDE Estates/Facilities Team of the Year Award
For exceptional team working leading to significant achievement

The AUDE University Impact Initiative of the Year Award
Recognition for a specific initiative having a significant positive impact on the institution, the sector and/or the profession

The AUDE Emerging Talent Award
To reward a member of staff, working in estates or facilities, who is making an exceptional contribution and demonstrates great potential for the future. This could be someone brand new to the sector or perhaps an individual who already has career experience but is fresh to estates/facilities management

The AUDE Chair’s Award for Long Term Contribution
For achievements benefitting the higher education estates/FM community, by an individual, over an extended period of time in a senior position.

The AUDE Award for Reaching Higher
For those that have gone above and beyond the usual realm of their institution, benefiting their local community and having a positive impact on those outside of the usual student and staff community. If your estates and facilities efforts have created links with the local community, worked in partnership with business and/or other organisations, demonstrated strong corporate social responsibility values or actively enhanced equality and diversity in all you do - then you could be a deserving winner.

Who are the shining stars in your team? Would a little bit of recognition across the sector give them a great boost as they set out on the next annual plan? To submit your nominations head to the AUDE website now. The deadline is 13 December – one week today!
