Canham Turner is an innovative, creative venue located on Hull’s main campus. Built in 1948, Canham Turner is one of the oldest buildings on campus and blends heritage with high technology seamlessly. It is the first building at the university to be named after a woman and follows a generous £3.5 million donation from alumna Barbara Canham Turner. Barbara’s love of Victorian literature is evident throughout the building, with our events and meeting spaces named after Victorian authors.
