AUDE Summer School Class of 19/20 Group Project Work

24 April 2020      Corinne Merriman, Events Manager

AUDE are pleased to share the group project work from the AUDE Summer School Class of 2019 - 2020.

Under the broad heading of “delivering integrated facilities within a more efficient and sustainable estate”, we tasked the five groups to build on their course insights to develop practical improvements to institutional performance. We asked them to explore best practice, investigating and bringing to light the work that should influence us all. We asked them to describe the impact of their work; and reflect on their own key learnings from Summer School. And, as AUDE, we wanted their input on how we can improve and act to better support estates teams in future.

The groups decided on these themes:

  • Group A a work shadowing framework for the HE sector
  • Group B a pathway to anti-silo working
  • Group C role of culture
  • Group D the use of AI for effective decision making in space planning
  • Group E collaboration and shared delivery

We are pleased to share these fantastic reports to the AUDE membership. Please view the AUDE Summer School Class of 2019 - 2020 group project work here.

Thank you to all of groups for their hard work and their insight which I am sure you will agree with after reading these reports.

AUDE are looking forward to welcoming the next cohort of summer school delegates on the 21st - 24th June 2021 at the University of Birmingham. Bookings are now open.
