AUDE Awards 2021 - one week until entry deadline

22 January 2021      Corinne Merriman, Events Manager

It’s time to get your entry together for the AUDE Awards 2021. There’s no better place to showcase your work. Often in past years a win at our awards is the cherry on the cake of a multi-year project, and that will no doubt be the case this year too. But equally, in this endlessly tough pandemic year, we know many of you will want to share your journey through it in your entries. You have until midnight on Friday 29 January to enter the awards.

Ten good reasons to enter the AUDE Awards

  • Peer acknowledgement of the quality of our work helps us to be seen as credible professionals within our university
  • Public awareness of awards helps position HE estates as a desirable place to build a career
  • The AUDE awards are a great source of good ideas for all our teams
  • A morale boost just when one is needed!
  • Meaningful recognition – and that’s sometimes hard to get when so much of our work goes on under the radar
  • Great ideas can go on and influence the sector and help you build your own network and influence
  • An AUDE award helps build your team’s reputation within the university and beyond
  • Your entry will help you focus on the data that proves the achievement, and that discipline will help in many other circumstances
  • An awards entry gives you space to reflect on the achievement – it’s fine to be proud of good work
  • No CVs have ever been harmed by winning awards!

Thank you to our colleagues at Hoare Lea who are supporting the awards once again this year – their continued support for this activity is much appreciated, and Jerry Barnes of Hoare Lea will act as one of the judges.
