EMR consultation with HESA

09 April 2019      Cheryl Pick, Projects and Engagement Manager

Dear Directors,

In relation to the EMR, the decision to continually collect the data year on year WILL continue, this was never in doubt. We are now in consultation with HESA looking at the mechanism for data collection. It is important that we are engaged and respond.

The consultation has been sent to your VC’s offices and is likely to be delegated, so please engage with this and ensure that whoever is responding has the necessary information. It is critical that institutions are communicating effectively internally to ensure that responses are representative of all departments. In particular, in relation to section 3.2: existing collections not required for regulatory or statutory purposes.

I have worked with HESA to provide you with opportunities to engage. Please find below a list of the upcoming events, including overview and the links for registration. Those identified as ‘exclusive’ are for AUDE members only, those that are identified as ‘open’ will be advertised on the HESA website later today.

I bring your focus to the 23rd April where we have an exclusive AUDE webinar. It is important to get as many of us onto this as we can please.

I have also started a discussion board post for conversations in advance.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
