Heat networks have the potential to play a major role in the decarbonisation of our energy system. The Committee on Climate Change has identified that in order to achieve the UK's 2050 net zero carbon targets, around 18% of heat will need to come from heat networks. In addition, growth of the sector could in time attract £30bn-£50bn investment , and create 20,000-35,000 new direct jobs.

The Heat Networks Industry Council is the coming together of key players within the industry, as a vehicle through which senior leaders from the sector can work in partnership with Government, to effectively shape the heat networks market for success.

The event will feature a keynote address and panel discussion with industry leaders.
