Bio: Buro Happold are a world-class global practice of around 1800 multidisciplinary engineers, consultants and advisers. They have worked in the Higher Education sector for more than forty years. During this time, they have worked with over 60 of the UK's leading universities and have a similar portfolio in over a dozen UK universities develop road maps to net zero carbon operation.
They were named Education Estates “Consultancy of the year” in 2019 and 2020 in recognition of their innovative approach to the sector across a wide range of themes. They are founder members of the Higher Education Design Quality Forum and authored a chapter in their book “Future Campus”. Buro Happold now also include brightspot strategy - a US-based higher education consultancy, and Abell Nepp - a leading UK based consultancy specialising in the design of scientific buildings and laboratory environments, giving them an unrivalled breadth of coverage.
