Synopsis: This webinar, delivered by Mills & Reeve, will discuss the requirements under the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (“ESOS”), a mandatory energy assessment and reporting regime that applies to “large undertakings”, and how they apply to universities. Whilst many universities may be obligated under ESOS, official data suggests that very few are participating despite the risk of serious penalties for non-compliance and increased enforcement action by the Environment Agency.
