Getting around Leeds for the Conference
Conference Auditorium, University of Leeds
Conference sessions
The plenary sessions will take place at the Conference Auditorium. The workshops will take place across various rooms in the Conference Auditorium and the University of Leeds campus, further details of which will be confirmed in due course.
Exhibition
The exhibition will take place in the Exhibition Centre at the University of Leeds.
The Conference Auditorium and Exhibition Centre (The Edge) are located next to each other and a three minute walk between the two.
Leeds is linked to the M1 and M62 motorways.
Parking on campus is limited, so we recommend that you use public transport, where possible.

Parking is available on-campus but is limited and subject to charges. There are orange zone visitor car parks open to the public in which you can pay at a pay station before you leave.

Blue badge spaces are located throughout the visitor car parks. The University's map of the visitor car parks includes the location of accessible bays.
Blue badge holders are not exempt from payment for parking.
As a campus on the edge of the city, the university campus is within easy reach of a number of city centre car parks. The Visit Leeds website has a list of car parks in the city centre.
If you’re travelling to Leeds by car and want to avoid parking in the city centre, you can use park and ride.
There are sites at Elland Road, Temple Green and Stourton, providing easy access by bus into the centre of Leeds.
If you’d like to car share when visiting Leeds, search for others taking the same journey using the Liftshare website.
Leeds Railway Station connects Leeds with all major UK cities. For train information and timetables visit the National Rail Enquiries website.
Walking to the University campus from Leeds Railway Station takes around 20 minutes.
For coach details, visit the National Express website. Most coaches arrive into Leeds Bus Station.
The number 6 bus runs from the bus station to the Parkinson Building, outside the University’s main entrance. There is also a taxi rank outside the bus station. A taxi to the University takes about 10 minutes.

There is also a Leeds CityBus that stops at the bus and train stations and the southern end of campus (near the back of Leeds General Infirmary A&E).
The closest airports to Leeds are Leeds Bradford Airport and Manchester Airport.
Leeds Bradford Airport is around seven miles away from the University and is easily commutable by taxi.
If you’re flying into Manchester Airport, you can catch a train from the airport to Leeds city centre. Visit the National Rail website for information on train times and tickets.
If you're thinking about cycling to the University, they have secure bike racks and showers.

Leeds also offer a water taxi for £3 per person, running every 15 minutes with stops at the Leeds Dock (by Royal Armouries) and Granary Wharf (south entrance of the railway station). Track the water taxi locations via their tracker.

A shuttle bus service for AUDE members will be provided to and from the accommodation to the University and back during the conference. Timings of the shuttle services will be shared in programme.

The walk from Hyatt Place Leeds to the Exhibition Centre (The Edge), is approximately 23 minutes.
