AUDE Awards FAQs

Entering the awards

There is no charge to enter; entry is free.

Team achievements, projects, initiatives and endeavours should be recent. Core achievements should have taken place within the preceding two years, with significant deliverables occurring during the past year.

Details on how to enter can be found on the entry guidance pages within the Awards section of the website. There you will find details on how to enter along with the application form you will be need to complete and return. All completed application forms are to be returned to info@aude.ac.uk by Friday, 15 January 2027.

Eligibility

The awards are open to all AUDE member institutions across the higher education sector. Suppliers can enter the Supplier of the Year category.

If your entry relates to an initiative or project carried out in collaboration with another institution or institutions, the submission should come from the lead institution. Any shortlisting will be in the name of that institution. If you are successful we will give credit to partner institutions at the awards ceremony where appropriate.

If there is no lead institution, to avoid multiple entries for the same project, please agree who will make the submission on behalf of the group.

You may enter a project undertaken in collaboration with an external public or private partner, but the award will be presented to the winning higher education institution only. The application must be submitted from the AUDE member higher education institution.

Submission guidance

You may enter as many categories as you wish, provided each submission is distinctive and unrelated.

A separate submission form must be submitted for each category.

No, only one application per institution per category is permitted.

Video or images are optional and act as supporting material. They are not mandatory and entries will not be disadvantaged if supporting videos or images are not available.

Please note that supporting documents are required for the AUDE & University Design Forum Small Scale High Impact Award. Details of these requirements can be found on the categories page or via the submission form, on the entry page.

Including visual evidence with your submission is encouraged, as it helps ensure that, if successful, your achievements can be showcased and recognised across the sector. Not submitting a video will not result in any deduction of points, but supporting evidence of this kind may help strengthen your application.

Judging & results

A panel of experts has kindly agreed to judge the AUDE Awards, made up of AUDE Executive Committee members and the AUDE Awards 2027 supporter.

Details of the judges will be shared shortly.

Details of the award categories and judging criteria can be found on the dedicated webpage, located in the website submenu.

All entrants will be notified of the outcome of their application by mid-February.

The announcement of the winners will be made at the AUDE Annual Conference gala dinner on the evening of Wednesday, 14 April 2027. Access to the awards evening is included in the full conference ticket or the gala dinner & awards ticket. Please contact ruth@aude.ac.uk if you have any queries regarding attending or tickets. Shortlisted entrants will be contacted directly with the relevant booking information for the evening, if successful.
