AUDE Conference 2027 - Early Career Professional Conference Place Award

AUDE is committed to supporting the next generation of estates and facilities professionals within higher education. We’re really proud of this brand new initiative to make conference open to early-career professionals for the first time. This new award for 2027 provides complimentary attendance at the 2027 AUDE Annual Conference for a limited number of early career professionals who demonstrate enthusiasm, potential and a commitment to developing their careers within the sector. Who do you know that could really take advantage of that opportunity? As always there’s an application form but it isn’t too onerous and we’d love to learn more about the individuals that could really take something from this chance. The deadline for applications is Friday 27 November. Applications can be self-nominated or nominated via line manager, director or head of department.

  • Applicant and eligibility details: The form requests applicant and, where applicable, nominator information, including role, institution, contact details, sector experience, current-role duration, and AUDE membership. Applicants must have worked in higher education for three years or less, be at an early career stage, have institutional support, and be able to attend the full conference.

  • Supporting statement and assessment: A statement of no more than 250 words should explain the applicant’s role, aspirations, potential, contributions, and expected professional-development benefits, with examples involving learning, inclusion, networking, leadership, projects, innovation, collaboration, sustainability, service improvement, or professional development. Applications are assessed on sector commitment, development and leadership potential, likely conference benefit, institutional support, and the ability to share learning afterward.

  • Award and follow-up: Successful applicants will receive complimentary attendance at the 2027 AUDE Annual Conference at the University of Edinburgh from 12 to 15 April, including conference sessions, three nights accommodation and networking activities. Institutions will need to cover travel and additional expenses. Recipients must later provide a short reflection describing key learning and how it will be applied within their institution.

Please complete and submit the short application form to info@aude.ac.uk by 5.00pm on Friday 27 November 2026.

If you have any questions about please email corinne@aude.ac.uk.
